Ontario’s construction industry plays a crucial role in the province’s resource economy, accounting for 6.1 percent of the provincial GDP in 2015.2 The industry relies heavily on innovation and engineering advances to meet the complex needs of our communities. One of the obstacles to the development of the Ring of Fire is the construction of a road to the Far North.
