Training and Recruitment Coordinator, SCR Mining and Tunnelling
Since beginning her career in mining in 2015, Brianna has been able to expand her knowledge, skills, and awareness by working in multiple areas of mining. Starting her career as a Document Control Specialist within the Project Management Organization at Totten Mine, she learned the requirements to run projects effectively and efficiently, both in an office and underground setting.
With that knowledge and development, she transitioned into the private mining sector as a Site Coordinator with Sudbury-based contractor SCR Mining and Tunnelling. While working as a coordinator at the South Mine Project, she continued to grow her understanding of the mining sector both with underground and surface construction. Along with this position, came an increased awareness for the importance and stress on safety, training and recruitment to safely and efficiently complete projects.
Currently serving as the Training and Recruitment Coordinator for SCR, she is also involved in the mining community by contributing to two mining-focused committees; Young Mining Professionals Sudbury and MECA (Mining Engagement Conference for Advancement) Symposium.
