Vice President Indigenous Relations, Hydro One

Derek Chum is the VP of Indigenous Relations at Hydro One. Prior to joining Hydro One, Derek worked with his community, the Moose Cree First Nation, on the Lower Mattagami River Project. This $2.5 billion hydro dam redevelopment project is a partnership between Moose Cree First Nation and Ontario Power Generation. Derek also practiced corporate law for eleven years serving First Nations client across the province. He is the former chair of Five Nations Energy Inc. and the Moose Cree Group of Companies.
