Neil Milner

Head of Projects, KGHM International

Neil has been with KGHM International since 2011 and is the Project Manager for the Victoria Project. His primary responsibility as Project Manager is overseeing the development of a complex underground mine and surface infrastructure project from basic engineering to commissioning and operations, while ensuring the company’s commitment to health & safety, the environmental and stakeholders, including Indigenous communities, remain at the forefront.

Prior to supporting KGHM, Neil spent 5 years working with Vale in various engineering and/or supervisory roles and 2 years in project roles. He started his career providing business improvement solutions to mining companies across North America and in South Africa.

A native of Sudbury, Neil attended Laurentian University where he obtained his Bachelor of Mining Engineering.   He is currently a Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario and is a Registered Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute.

Neil has served on the chamber of commerce Board for one year; he is the Immigration Task Force Chair and is member of the Ring of Fire Task Force.
