Director of Business Development & Industry Relations, Pomerleau
Sean Strickland joined Pomerleau in early 2017 as Director of Business Development & Industry Relations. Previously, Mr. Strickland held the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Ontario Construction Secretariat (OCS) for nine years. During his time there, he helped develop the Future Building Conference, and the State of the Industry and Outlook Conference intended to attract young people to the field. Mr. Strickland is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, and prior to his tenure at the OCS, he was the Business Manager for the Waterloo, Wellington, Dufferin, Grey Building and Construction Trades Council. Mr. Strickland has extensive experience in municipal affairs and government relations and has served on many non-profit boards including for Grand River Hospital, Wilfrid Laurier University and the Grand River Conservation Authority.
